Housing Development Administration PresidencyEmlak Bank Yapı Ltd. Şti is established under the responsibility of the Emlak and Eytam Bank in order to establish Saraçoğlu Quarter in Ankara in the 1940’s and then 450 houses were constructed. TOKI completed 43.145 houses in 19 years until 2002 and provided credits to approximately 950.000 houses. In the frame of the Emergency Plan which was implemented by our 58th government, the “Planned Urbanization and Housing Mobilization” started and then TOKI acquired a new vision. In this coverage, our 59th government removed the status of TOKI as a subsidiary of the Undersecretary of Housing in accordance with the decision of the Prime Ministry dated 14.08.2003 and issue numbered 12142 and charged it as the organization which is reporting directly to the Prime Ministry in accordance with the decision of the Prime Ministry dated 16.01.2004 and issue numbered 802 to the Ministry of Public Works. Our organization has realized lots of housing productions and financing supports successfully until today.
